At the Puerto Rico Builder Association 2025 Convention, Dr. Gerard Alexander, associate professor of Politics at the University of Virginia and ILE’s Board member together with Jorge L. Rodriguez, Founder and CEO of ILE, discussed the importance of public policy, an active private sector participation in the market of ideas and how to address, based on what other jurisdictions have done, the challenges the island faces regarding public sector barriers causing private investment and entrepreneurship not to flourish and be the drivers of economic growth.
