Alejandro Ballester is the President at Ballester Hermanos, a leading importer and distributor of branded foods, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and food service in Puerto Rico. He is also the Director of the Audit Committee and Chairman of the Governance and Nomination Committees at the Board of Popular, Inc. (NYSE: BPOP), the largest commercial bank in Puerto Rico. He has served in the Small Business and Agriculture Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and as a member of the Board of the Government Development Bank in Puerto Rico.

He was named “Young Executive of the Year” by Puerto Rico’s Chamber of Marketing and Industry of Food Distribution; and is an active member of the Puerto Rico chapter of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).

Alejandro holds a M.A. in Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Finance from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.S. in Business and Economics with a major in Finance from Lehigh University.
