ILE held a breakfast conference with opening remarks by Hon. Thomas Rivera Schatz, President of the Puerto Rico Senate; a keynote address by Jonathan Wolfson, Chief Legal Officer and Policy Director at the Cicero Institute; and a panel discussion with Jorge L. Rodríguez, Founder & CEO of ILE, on how deregulation can help unleash Puerto Rico’s economic potential. As the Island continues to confront long-standing structural barriers to growth, a new wave of legislative reforms, particularly in the area of occupational licensing, is reshaping the policy landscape.

Hon. Luis Fortuño, former governor of Puerto Rico and Jorge L. Rodríguez, our founder, participated in a panel moderated by Rafa Rojo, at the Puerto Rico Builders Association 2024 Annual Convention held at the Puerto Rico Convention Center.
